2008 - 2009POINSETTIA SALES October 22 - November 10 MUN will once again have a poinsettia sale to help subsidize your MUN trips. This is our most profitable fund raising event. Last year one student earned more than $400! We will begin sales in early October by sending a sales packet home to each family. Get an early start on your sales by reminding family and friends of the sale. We will give you about 2 weeks before we send out flyers to all the other schools in Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach. A portion of the profits from mail-in sales will be distributed amongst the students who deliver them and only the students who sell poinsettias on their own will be given the opportunity to deliver the mail-in poinsettias. The more you sell on your own, the more you will be able to earn from the mail-ins. The poinsettias will be delivered to us on or about December 2nd. We will be selling the poinsettias in 4 colors: Red, White, Pink, or Shimmer Surprise (red with white splashes). The cost of each plant will be $12, and student fund deposits will depend on total profit from sales. Order forms and money need to be turned into Beth Davis by November 10th.
